About Naturopathic Medicine
Does Insurance cover Naturopathic Medical visits?
Answering the BIG question?
Most insurance plans in the state of Arizona do not cover naturopathic medical visits. Medicare, Medicaid and Blue Cross/Blue Shield absolutely will not cover ND's. Individual companies who self-insure can cover NDs and most other companies will reimburse patients at an out-of-network rate. Again, the best way to see if your insurance company will assist you in our services is to call your provider. We are always willing to work with you and can provide an itemized receipt and super bill with your visit for possible reimbursement. Compensation will be the sole responsibility of the patient. Here at Everybody’s Primary Care, LLC we want to be easily accessible to everybody and allow you to choose what type of health care best suits you regardless of the type of coverage you have.
We are a cash pay clinic and accept all major forms of payment; debt cards, checks, credit cards, money orders, PayPal, and even HSA’s!
How does a Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD) differ from my General Practice Medical Doctor (MD)?
As NMD’s we want to spend one-on-one time with you, get to know your medical history, listen to your concerns, encourage your healing and let you be part of the decision making. We get to spend quality time with you in comparison to some primary care physicians who are limited in visit times. In some medical facilities you spend more time with the staff than you do with the actual doctor. With Everybody’s Primary Care, LLC we want to focus on your concerns without time constraints and concentrate on your whole body wellness.
We are medically trained to carry out general medicine services in addition to having the ability to offer other modalities and therapies. As naturopaths we have more tools in our tool belt to help you with any bodily repair. The credence to which we concentrate on is based upon whole patient wellness; with an emphasis on prevention and self-care. Another great aspect to the care that NMD’s offer is that we provide you with more options to help you handle your care, in the manner you want. Let’s continue to be proactive and together we can continue to make a difference.
Our health reflects the relationship we share with our body. Once the whole body is in sync our capabilities of healing and becoming healthier becomes a natural instinct for us. As NMD's we can offer you our undivided attention and time to help you achieve the healthiest version of you. Let the docs here at Everybody's Primary Care help you along this new and natural path to long term health and happiness.
